About Shelbie Vilag

My name is Shelbie Vilag. Currently, I am a graduate student at the University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI) studying Information Science, graduating in April 2022. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) in April 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in History, and went to Salem High School in Canton, Michigan.

My husband and I got married in July 2020 on the banks of the canals of the Detroit River in the backyard of one of my bridesmaids. We had originally planned to get married at Lovett Hall, the ballroom at the Henry Ford Museum, but COVID-19 forced us to get creative.

In my free time you can catch me on my computer, painting, or doing some other craft when I’m not hanging with the dogs (see gallery for more!). Here’s a painting I’m currently working on:
